Massage Therapy

What Is Therapeutic Massage?

Doctor for Life is now offering medical massage therapy for patients suffering from a variety of ailments. Patients will fill out an in-depth health history which includes: current and past pain and dysfunction issues within the body, previous injuries, current medical and emotional concerns, any past or present treatments you are/have been using. We will then create a treatment plan customized to your specific needs. We will work together to not only repair the damage but to also educate you on how your body is moving through space and how your daily habits may be effecting your overall health.

Massage Types

Massage as medicine

The main purpose of a treatment massage is to address the pattern of dysfunction in the body that causes pain. We focus the whole session on the specific area(s) causing the dysfunction.

Need to relax?

This full body relaxation massage is a perfect way to slow down your day and reap the benefits of a calm nervous system.

Tense Muscles?

This full body massage is a great way to release overly tightended muscles, increase circulation, and calm the body

Combine it!

This is the most common type of massage that combines a full body relaxation massage with some deep tissue treatment geared towards releasing a few tight areas of the body.

Can we bill these visits to insurance?

Absolutely! As a Doctor for Life patient, your symptoms can be evaluated prescribed Massage Therapy by our physician as a medically necessary treatment that can be filed to your insurance. Like always, patients are subject to any copays and deductibles per their insurance plans. Self-pay options are also available for nonpatients or patients choosing to not file with insurance.

What medical problems can
therapeutic massages treat?

There's a wide range of medical problems and symptoms that can be treated with therapeutic massages including: headaches, tennis elbow, neck pain, plantar fasciitis, sciatica, frozen shoulder, TMJ, carpal tunnel, anxiety, insomnia, sports injuries, and more.

Why people believe in us

"I just got a massage from Erin Baker and not only was the massage great but she was both professional and friendly, overall a great experience and plan on coming back monthly!! "

"I get massage therapy for my neck, shoulders, back and hips. Before Erin I had no relief. I can not say enough about the truly God given talent Erin has. Without her I’d be 100% dependent on pharmaceutical relief. My range of motion has vastly increased. I can actually turn my head now. She is a true gem. I’m very appreciative and thankful for her services. She knows the body and how it works to get the best relief.
Praise God for her!"

"Erin is very professional and I’ll keep coming to her."

"I have been going to Erin for 2 yrs now after searching for awhile and not finding anyone who actually provides therapy I finally found Erin and she is amazing! I workout 3 days a week and drive for work. I have tennis elbow, a bad hip and suffer with neck problems. My massages with Erin are the only thing that actually helps any of these issues. I seriously don't think I could do life without my massages! I'm so thankful I found Erin."
