Dr. Cheryl Sarmiento is a physician who is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.  After medical school she spent three additional years learning to become a specialist in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of disease that affect adults, the elderly, and teens.  This includes the diagnosis and treatment of diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, lung disease, and other medical conditions.

Dr. Sarmiento attended Far Eastern University  in the Philippines.  She completed one year of her residency at the U.S. Naval Hospital and completed her residency for Internal Medicine at Cook County Hospital.  She is a member of the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American College of Physicians.
